Front Porch Photography is based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The company name inspired by my midwestern roots. I’d visit with my friends and have my picture taken on my front porch. It was a great place to watch the raindrops fall and the cars go by. Front porches brought people together back then.
My interest in photography started at a very early age. I spent hours looking at our family photo albums that were created with photographs from as early as the 1900′s. My Mother was the family photographer and I watched her closely. I was already studying composition and light in photos at the age of 7. I took my first black and white photos at the age of 9, with a Brownie camera on a family vacation to Yellowstone. Since then, I’ve gone on to study photography in college, exhibit my work and have won some awards along the way.
The dust has finally settled and it’s time to enjoy the view on my newly designed virtual front porch. Thank you for your patience!
